About the Capitan

Billy Gee

Capt. Billy Gee is a third generation Charter Captain and shares his father’s love of sport fishing for Rockfish on the Chesapeake Bay. Capt. Billy was born and raised in Deale Maryland and grew up fishing the middle bay with his grandfather until old enough to start his fishing career on some of the charter boats in the Deale area. In the late 1980’s Billy became a full time mate when his father bought his first charter boat and started Ebb Tide Charters. In 1999 he got his captain’s license and today runs Ebb Tide Charters. Capt. Billy also has an Unlimited Tidal Fishing license from the Maryland Dept. of Natural Resources. Capt. Billy has spent his winter vacations fishing for Sailfish, Marlin, Dolphin and Tuna in Costa Rica, Cabo San Lucas and the Florida Keys. Captain Billy is a member of the Maryland Charter boat Assoc., Deale Captains Assoc., and the North Beach Volunteer Fire Dept. He was an operator of the Deale VFD and North Beach VFD fireboats for over 20 years and is a certified EMT and longtime volunteer firefighter with North Beach, Deale and Hillside fire departments.
