Jelk's Bayou Hunting Lodge, est. 1999, is a commercial hunting lodge offering fully guided duck and upland game hunting. Located in the Mississippi Flyway in Northeast Louisiana, Jelk’s Bayou Hunting Lodge is nestled between Bayou Bartholomew and Jelk's Bayou, a major travel corridor for wintering waterfowl entering the state of Louisiana. This location places hundreds of thousands of wintering waterfowl at our doorstep each season. We attract waterfowl to our property by providing optimal habitat such as: moist soil habitat, flooded corn, flooded rice, flooded Golden Millet. Along with providing optimal habitat, we attempt to retain waterfowl on the property through strenuous pressure management. Through these management practices, Jelk’s Bayou Hunting Lodge is able to provide an exclusive and unique hunting experience.
