Indiana is a state in the Midwestern region of the United States, bordered by Michigan to the north; Ohio to the east; Kentucky to the south; and Illinois to the west. The state’s natural resources are managed by Indiana Department of Natural Resources. The mission of the Division of Fish & Wildlife is to enrich the quality of life for present and future generations by balancing the biological, ecological, recreational, and economic benefits of Indiana’s fish, wildlife and their habitats. Per the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation, Indiana has more than 867,000 hunters and anglers who spend $924 million annually and support 14,058 jobs. Information on licenses and seasons can be found at www.in.gov/dnr. Indiana allows the purchase of a hunting and/or fishing licenses online, in person, or via mail. Seasons are presented for each species including bag and size limits.
