About
The Ommelanden Hunter Education Training Center is one of two state shooting ranges managed by the Division of Fish and Wildlife.
About the Company
The Ommelanden Hunter Education Training Center houses the Delaware Hunter Education Program. The intent of this program is to preserve Delaware's hunting heritage through education.
This destination offers shooting ranges for archery, pistols, and rifles. It even has a trail offering a beautiful view of the Delaware River.
Since 1970, more than 35,000 sportsmen have received safety training that has reduced hunting accidents statewide. Each of these individuals has also sworn an oath to the "Hunter's Pledge," the first rule of which is to respect the environment and wildlife.
