Having been in business for over 15 years we have learned a thing or two about how to make it happen day in and day out. This is all we do. We are a full time Lodge and Outfitter that has put together a team of professionals who truly love what they do. We put 110% into everything all season long. You will not find harder working more knowledgeable guides anywhere. Also owning and managing tens of thousands of acres allows us to make smart decisions everyday. We have enough ground to give us a wide variety of options for any given day and still be able to rest birds on the majority of area. You never know what mother nature will throw at you but rest assured we’ve seen just about everything and with that experience we are always prepared.

About the Owner

Basswood Lodge is a family - owned hunting preserve started in 1996. Located along the game-rich St. Lawrence Valley in Northern New York, our specialty is wing shooting being one of the premier destinations for waterfowl and pheasants along the Eastern U.S. Basswood Lodge owns 1300+ acres consisting of a spectacular mixture of fertile wetlands, planted crops, and hardwoods. We also lease several thousand more acres exclusively for duck, goose, turkey and deer hunting. Basswood has three fully equipped lodges with ability to accommodate 30+ hunters. We believe that our honest approach as well as our hardworking, skilled and personable guides are the foundation of our business. We look forward to the same friends returning to camp every fall as well as meeting new friends along the way. We invite you to explore our new Facebook page and we thank you for your interest in Basswood Lodge.
