Heartland Hunting

You have a choice of flying into Cedar Rapids, Des Moines or Moline. The preserve is approximately two hours from any local airport. To make your visit even more convenient, Heartland Hunting will provide transportation to and from the airport. Heartland Hunting provides all your meals whether you prefer a quick lunch in the blinds or come back to the lodge for a Thanksgiving style meal, we will handle it all! All of our blinds are heated and can comfortably accommodate five. After taking your animal, leave the rest to us. Field dressing and preparing your animal for mount and meat is up to us! After we have met all your goals for the day, come back to the lodge for a restful or fun-filled evening in the comfort of the beautiful lodge that feels like home. Heartland Hunting’s lodge sleeps five adults comfortably with three bedrooms, full kitchen and two full baths. Hang out in the family room watching TV on our flat screen. Play cards in the game room or hang out in the bar and play the laser shot simulator. There is plenty of room to have a great time.
