    Welcome aboard Maryland’s premier charter boat for Striped Bass Fishing, Cruises, Crabbing, Light House Tours, and Waterfowl Hunting on the Chesapeake Bay. Located just outside of Annapolis, Baltimore, and Washington DC on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.

    The Marylander is a 48 foot Chesapeake and was commissioned in spring of 1999. It is a hand crafted Chesapeake Bay deadrise styled boat that is 14 feet 8 inches wide. The Marylander is approved by USCG to carry up to 30 passengers and 2 crew in the Chesapeake Bay and its surrounding waters. It is also powered by a 430hp Cummins Marine Diesel engine and is equipped with air conditioning and heat for your comfort. It has numerous rod holders, features a spacious dinette in its large cabin, restroom, and two bunks in the forward cabin. The Marylander cruises comfortably at 15-18 knots and is well maintained before, during, and after your voyage.

    Jason Seman

    Captain Jason Seman is a local fisherman that grew up on the Eastern Shore of Maryland fishing, hunting, and has been an active member of the Delmarva’s Agricultural Community. From childhood, he has spent countless days on the Chesapeake Bay perfecting his craft and is looking forward to sharing and creating new memories with you. In the spring of 2018, Captain Jason had the opportunity to acquire The Marylander, a lifelong dream and opportunity. On April 30, 2021 The Marylander was approved by USCG to carry 30 passengers and 2 Crew after years of upgrades and renovation. Captain Jason continues to meticulously maintain his vessel to provide the most professional and fun excursions on the Chesapeake Bay! Captain Jason currently holds a USCG 100 Ton Masters License and is a member of the National Association of Charter boat Operators (NACO), the current Vice President of Area 1 for the Maryland Charter Boat Association (MCBA), a member of the Upper Bay Captains Association, a member of the Maryland Watermen’s Association, Queen Anne’s County Watermen’s Association, the Queen Anne’s County Chamber of Commerce, and is a member of the Maryland Farm Bureau. Captain Jason is also a featured monthly writer for Coastal Angler Magazines Chesapeake Edition and his fishing forecasts can be viewed on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube , & Locals.
