Guests will enjoy fishing for Trout from the comfortable Aluminum frame that sits atop two, 16’ Aire pontoons. Not only is the boat more stable than conventional hard drift boats and dories, it’s also a better platform for older folks and kids to fish from. While he doesn’t have the luxury of guiding every single day, it’s safe to say that living just minutes from the river gives Joe the chance to fish the river just about every day. He’s built much of his word of mouth business on the simple fact that he is likely the only person who fishes the Toccoa more than 280 days a year. After discovering guide work in saltwater in college, beginning to guide on the river after college was a natural transition.

Most waters we fish are well suited for a 4-6wt, 8-10 foot fly rods or 5-6 foot ultra light and light spinning gear. We love to teach beginner and novice fly-fishermen. A cooler with ice and bottled waters will be provided by the guide on all trips. All anglers 16 and up must have a valid Georgia Freshwater Fishing License and Trout License.
