We offer a relaxed atmosphere, whether you are coming to experience the National Lava Beds, our summer and winter playground at Medicine Lake, or take in the beauty of the many Bird Refuges. Our Lodge is close and convenient to all the Basin has to offer and we are also a pet friendly facility.

About the Owner

We are open year-round and are located about 8 miles west of Tulelake, near the Fish and Wildlife Refuge, on Hill Road. We offer a relaxed atmosphere, whether you are coming to experience the National Lava Beds, our summer and winter playground at Medicine Lake, or take in the beauty of the many Bird Refuges. Our lodge is close and convienant to all the basin has to offer. The Winema cookhouse and bunkhouse, were built in the early 1940’'s by winema farms. It seemed that the farmers had so many hunters staying seasonally in all their spare bedrooms and outbuildings, they decided to convert the two buildings into the Hunting Lodge. Today, it provides year-round lodging and the dining room serves home cooked meals served family style for tourists from all over the world, who want to explore the area. We can also host large groups for parties and workshops. There is also RV parking available with full hook ups.
