California is a state in the Western region of the United Sates, boarded by the Pacific Ocean to the west, Oregon to the north, Nevada and Arizona to the east, and Mexico to the South. The state’s natural resources are managed by California Department of Fish and Wildlife, who’s mission is to manage California’s diverse fish, wildlife, and plant resources, and the habitats upon which they depend, for their ecological values and for their use and enjoyment by the public. Per the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation, California has more than 1.82 million hunters and anglers who spend $3.5 billion annually and support 56,388 jobs. Seasons & Regulations
Information on licenses and seasons can be found at wildlife.ca.gov . Registered users can buy or renew a license, tag, report card, lands pass, warden stamp, and also enter drawings. Seasons are presented for each species including bag and size limits.
