Mississippi s a state in the Southeastern region of the United States, bordered by Tennessee to the north; Alabama to the east; Louisiana and the Gulf of Mexico to the south; and Louisiana and Arkansas to the west. The state’s natural resources are managed by the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks. The department oversees 54 Wildlife Management Area encompassing over 665,000 acres.
