Weekly Round Up

Happy Friday Harvesters! We hope you’ve had a great week and are looking forward to the upcoming Holidays. There are a variety of articles to view this week, as well as new social posts. 

Did you know that areas of Colorado are voting to reintroduce gray wolves. Vail and Glenwood Springs are planning to have around 15 wolves released every year until there have been 50 reintroduced. They will be tracked through GPS to follow their location and document progress. With hopes of sustaining population, one main concern for many residents is the livestock that ranchers own in the area. To help ease these concerns, Colorado Parks and Wildlife plan to supply ranchers with equipment such as electric fences and will even pay up to $8,000 for livestock killed by wolves. In other news, Sam Tudor shared a YouTube link this past week showing his winter fishing experience. He calls it, “Loving the Chain Pickerel!” One of our favorite things for members to share are videos, so thanks Sam!
