Idaho is a state in the Northwestern region of the United States, bordered by Montana and Wyoming to the east; Utah and Nevada to the south; and Oregon and Washington to the west. The state’s natural resources are managed by Idaho Fish and Game, which mission is to protect, preserve, perpetuate and manage Idaho’s wildlife resources. Fish and Game has 31 Wildlife Management Areas totaling about 370,000 acres and located in six of its seven regions. WMAs range from 275 to 85,000 acres and address specific priorities based upon the needs of wildlife in the surrounding area.
